  08 Exposure Planner (all).png - People frequently ask "how long should I expose my target?" I wrote my Exposure Planner utility to help answer the question. It's actually a bad question because it depends on what I want to do. For example, if I draw a box around the whole galaxy, I can see that I will need only 20 minutes to achieve a signal to noise ratio of 10. But it isn't as simple as that.
